This unforgettable day will begin at St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world. Take some time to admire Michelangelo's "Pieta" and the beautiful Bernini Pulpit, before continuing on to the sites of Renaissance and Baroque Rome of Popes: Piazza Navona, the beautiful Spanish Steps, and of course the Trevi Fountain, the city's most famous fountain and a Baroque masterpiece. Legend says that by throwing a coin into the fountain you will ensure your return to Rome. You will also be introduced to the Ancient Rome of Emperors - Capitoline Hill and the famous Roman Forum, the heart of ancient Rome, and the Colosseum, one of the world's most famous buildings and a symbol of the city. Take in the site where ancient Rome's people came to watch gladiators and other spectacles, before continuing on to see Palatine Hill and Circus Maximus.

You will also pass by several other attractions that your guide will point out to you, such as Castle St. Angelo and its bridge, the Italian Senate, The Marble Foot and Cat Street (Roman Curiosity), Trajan's Column, Imperial Fora, Trajan's Market, The Maps of the Empire, Arch of Constantine, Marcus Aurelius's Column, Parliament and Council of Ministers, St. Nicholas in Chains, temples of Apollo, Vesta and Janus, Quirinal Palace.
For the Vatican Museums we suggest a licensed private guide with a visit to the Sistine Chapel frescoed by Michelangelo , the Galeries of the Chandeliers, the Galery of the Tapestries and and the one of the Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall and the Ancient Vatican Library. At some point you will stop for lunch, which can either be a leisurely meal in a local restaurant somethig fast on the way (if you want to have a quick one!). We will always be ready to suggest the most convenient place in the neighborhood, and aslo honored to take you to quaint little restaurants where to experience the authentic atmosphere of Rome.

So I took a chance and booked Sergio and Amalfi Coast Exclusive Transfers without finding any reviews on them for a Rome airport to Positano hotel transfer. I had nothing to worry about as the company lived up to expectations. They emailed me a couple days before the trip to confirm. The driver was waiting for us when we arrived in Rome, helped with the luggage and had a clean Mercedes parked close by. His English was good and he was very informative about the areas we drove through; as we got closer to the coast, it was almost like having a tour guide. We asked to stop at an ATM and while we were there, he went and bought us a couple cold drinks and a bag of cookies from the local bakery, which was an unexpected treat. Thus, I had no issues with using this company and would use them again, especially since they were a little more competitive than anyone else I found.

This past summer our family used Almalfi Coast Exclusive Transfers and Tours for our transfer from Rome to Sorrento and driving tours of Naples and the Almalfi Coast. We all were very pleased with the service provided. The vehicles were clean and well maintained but what made the experience exceptional were Sergio and Fabio's professionalism, reliability, and knowledge of the region. Sergio and Fabio Barbaro did our transfer from Naples to Positano and back when we left. They were on time, courteous, friendly and overall did a great job. It was my wife and I plus our three teenage children on a 10-day visit through Italy so we had a lot of luggage, were tired from our travels, etc. The Mercedes van they used was excellent and they were both very good drivers on the challenging roads in this part of Italy. It was definitely worth the money to use a transfer service and not do the driving myself. I would definitely recommend this service and will use them again when we go back.

I recently booked Sergio for a transfer from Salerno to Amalfi and then from Sorrento to Naples - the service was fantastic!
